  Seat yourself, hole in the wall. My favourite kind. Sat down and service came in good time. Ordered soup of the day, very bland for seasoning. Common with most restaurants. Once I adjusted with some salt and pepper it was perfect. Was hoping to have coleslaw which is on the menu. To my disappointment it wasn't available because the supplier hasn't come yet. This was annoying. Coleslaw is simple, quick and easy to make in house and always that much better fresh. That's the reality of most family restaurants, no professional cooks/chefs in the kitchen. Ordered the Reuben and despite the delicious homemade bread, there was barely any meat between. Seriously? Fries under cooked and saturated with oil (get the oil up to temp first!!!!) . This isn't a reason to not come here for some comfort food. The prices are relatively cheap and so is the food and quality. If you're looking for a quick fix, this place will do justice and you're helping locals make an honest buck. If you're in the mood for an experience and quality then this isn't for you. 17 is here to treat hangovers and empty tummies for small budgets. If I'm ever down this way again I wouldn't seek it out. I would look for a hidden gem with coleslaw!

  Stopped in for lunch when passing through. Food and food options aren't bad, prices are good. Service wasn't the best.

  Great food. Friendly servers. It's doesn't look like much from outside - don't miss this place!
